The Secrets To A Flat Stomach

If you really want to have a flat stomach, you must get to know the so called "secrets" to achieve your goal. These secrets in reality lie more in the ground of commons sense that we may know but always fail to take action on them. So, it's all about losing fat and exercising, to achieve this, the most effective way is combine strength or weight training, a routine of cardio and stable blood sugar levels (which translates in a healthy diet)

Strength training

Remember, the abs are not a single line of muscles. They have different angles you can work them to have a flat stomach. With them you not only curl them but also rotate your torso and stabilize your body. The exercises you must do should include these types of movements. I see people doing sit ups every day and they do not get the abs they could have if they make the right choices.

Stable blood sugar levels

This is the most crucial step when you want to burn fat for a tight stomach. How to stabilize blood sugar?

Feed your body frequently. Have more meals a day but make them small, every 2 to 3 hours. Give your body just what it needs. Have you seen how babies eat at small intervals? Well it's something like that. Give your body good stuff: vegetables, proteins, whole foods. Avoid processed foods and any kind of excess in fats or carbs. It's about the quality of food.

Cardio workouts

What is great about cardio workouts is that they increase your metabolism. This means that you will still burn fat hours after finishing your workout. When you do cardio exercises you start burning pure fat after the first 30 minutes of activity. (Also called the "fat burning phase"), you should stay in that phase for 30 minutes. There are also variations of intensity called "intervals". Interval training is a great way to lose fat quickly.

5 Tips To Lose 15 Pounds Fast

How many diets and exercise programs have you seen that promise to help you lose 15 pounds fast? I wonder how many people have used these products successfully? From my experiences I have found that the problem with these kind of claims is that although it may be possible to lose this amount of weight very quickly, it is not always the healthiest, safest option and very rarely does it lead to permanent weight-loss. This purpose of this article is to point you in the correct direction and to give tips and advice on how best to achieve your weight-loss targets.

Most diets available today claim to allow the dieter to shed pounds ridiculously quickly - who wouldn't want to lose 15 pounds fast?! - it is great marketing!. The truth is that although many of these diets do create an initial fast loss of weight, this rarely lasts and is more often than not due to water loss and muscle wastage. This type of dieting is extremely unhealthy and leads to dehydration and lowers ones energy and concentration levels. There are more effective ways to lose 15 pounds fast which can help you keep the weight off.

Other low calorie diets which are touted can work but it is important to realise that severe calorie restriction for too long leads to the body's metabolism slowing down significantly and heading towards its 'body starvation mode'. Once your body hits this starvation mode it will burn far less calories in a bid to stay alive!

The body will respond when entering body starvation mode by using its own reserves to provide energy, these reserves are not just the body's extra fat. Initially, glycogen stores (the storage form of carbohydrate in our body) are broken down for energy. Once this energy source is depleted within a few hours water is released and consequently a drop in weight is noticed.

The common problem associated with starvation-type diets is the resultant weight regain. When the starvation diet ends, the individual returns to the same old habits - there has been no life-style change which is really the key to losing weight and keeping it off. The composition of this weight regain is fat - this replaces the muscle mass lost during the diet and the individuals metabolic rate is decreased. The frustration experienced at this point leads the individual back onto another starvation type diet and so the cycle continues. This is why we see so many people seemingly on a constant diet. Remember - it is possible to lose 15 pounds fast, but keeping the pounds off is the real goal.

If you are one of those people that constantly seem to be dieting you will find that making the following small changes to your lifestyle will greatly improve your long-term weight loss goals;

1. Eat 4-6 small meals per day, balancing your intake of nutrients. This helps increase metabolism as your body is constantly working to process the food.

2. Start exercising - it may seem obvious but it is amazing how many people simply diet without any exercise. This helps your body increase its metabolic rate still further and will speed your weight-loss results.

3. Use weight training combined with aerobic exercise - you don't need to lift massively heavy weights - just do a little, it helps regain any muscle mass lost during dieting and the aerobic workout will help increase the appetite appropriately.

4. Eat Breakfast - this kick starts your metabolism for the day. Studies have shown that people who it a healthy breakfast actually lose more weight than people who skip it all together!

5. Drink Water - This is the energy source for all life, staying hydrated is vital.

There are few diets that enable you to lose 15 pounds fast and fewer still that can provide the continuous and long lasting results you are looking for. It is up to you to get motivated and want to lose the weight - permanently. Cycling Calories - How Does It Work?

One of the main reasons why 95% of diets fail is that your metabolism slows down during the diet until it burns less and less fat. That is also why people lose a lot of weight when they start dieting but see their weight loss rate slow down with time. What is Cacao?

Cacao is the seed of a fruit of an Amazonian tree that was brought to Central America during or before the time of the Olmecs. Cacao beans were so revered by the Mayans and Aztecs that they used them as money!

In 1753 Carl von Linnaeus, the 18th-century Swedish scientist, thought that cacao was so important that he named the genus and species of this tree himself. He named this tree: Theobroma cacao, which literally means "cacao, the food of the gods."

Cacao beans contain no sugar and between 12% and 50% fat depending on variety and growth conditions. Nature's First Law cacao beans are around 40% fat content (low compared to other nuts). There is no evidence to implicate cacao bean consumption with obesity.

Magnesium
Cacao is remarkably rich in magnesium.

Cacao seems to be the #1 source of magnesium of any food. This is likely the primary reason women crave chocolate during the menstrual period. Magnesium balances brain chemistry, builds strong bones, and is associated with more happiness. Magnesium is the most deficient major mineral on the Standard American Diet (SAD); over 80% of Americans are chronically deficient in Magnesium!

Stimulant or Superfood?
Cacao contains subtle amounts of caffeine and theobromine. However, experiments have shown that these stimulants are far different when consumed raw than cooked.

A neurotransmitter called anandamide, has been isolated in cacao. Anandamide is also produced naturally in the brain. Anandamide is known as "The Bliss Chemical" because it is released while we are feeling great. Cacao contains enzyme inhibitors that decrease our bodies' ability to breakdown anandamide. This means that natural anandamide and/or cacao anandamide may stick around longer, making us feel good longer, when we eat cacao.

Allergies?
A recent study showed that only one out of 500 people who thought they were allergic to chocolate actually tested positive. Allergies to chocolate are quite rare. It is typically the case that the person is in fact allergic to milk and dairy products.

What to do with Cacao Beans?

Step 1: Peel the cacao beans (two methods of peeling): 1. Peel them dry with your fingernails or a small knife.
2. Soak the cacao beans in water up to 30 minutes, then peel them. Soaking softens the skin-peel and sometimes makes peeling easier.

Step 2: What to do with your peeled cacao beans: 1. Try eating them straight, one at a time. Chew it thoroughly and experience the taste extravaganza of raw chocolate.
2. Add to coconut-based or fruit-based smoothies to enhance the flavor.
3. Add a drip of agave nectar or honey or another sweetening agent to the raw cacao bean and chew!
4. Freeze cacao beans with sweeteners (agave nectar or honey are fantastic). Eat cold.
5. Blend cacao beans into herbal teas with the Peruvian superfood maca.
6. Crush cacao beans with a mortar and pestle and add to raw ice creams for the best chocolate chips in the world.
